The run up to the Big Day

Wedding planning is in full swing. We have been busy with the preparations for both the wedding and the house move.

- The venue, the photographer, videographer, DJ & dress were all booked a while back!

- In July we bought the wedding ties for the groom and all the grooms men, plus manged to get a special run of a John Lewis flower girl dress for Jessica and order a bridesmaid dress for Lenka.

- August has been in whirlwind of finding a String Quarter, sourcing the chair covers & more!

- September is meeting time at the venue to decide menu's & timing for the day, plus pick flowers.

- October we order the cake and have food & wine tasting (it's 'free' of sorts??).

- November we meet the String Quartet and pick our music for the day. Plus it's time to buy table decorations and all the other things we'd forgotten about earlier! & start the table planning, but so many variables keep changing, including the guests!

*** STOP PRESS*** - the wedding ceremony is now at 2pm - DO NOT MISS IT!!

- December is make final tweaks to plans & pay last few cheques for services??!! Then write the name cards & more.......
